Privacy policy
This page explains what information Grandview Contractors collects when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Plain language, no surprises.

Who we are
Grandview Contractors is the trade name of Civilian Heuristics LLC, a Utah company. Our office is at 1645 North 1400 West, Provo, UT 84604. For anything related to this policy, email contact@grandviewcontractors.com or call (385) 236-1741.
What we collect
We collect information three ways, and all of them are ordinary:
- Form submissions. When you use the form on our contact page, we receive what you type: your name, phone number, project details, and your email address if you choose to include it.
- Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting server records basic technical data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use these logs for security and troubleshooting, not for profiling.
- Basic analytics. When analytics are enabled, we see aggregate information such as which pages get visited and roughly where traffic comes from. This helps us understand what people are looking for.
We don’t ask for anything we don’t need. If a field is optional, it’s genuinely optional.
Why we collect it
Two reasons: responding to your inquiry and running the business. If you ask about a project, we use your contact information to reply, ask follow-up questions, and prepare an estimate. Beyond that, we keep normal business records — correspondence, estimates, project files — the way any licensed contractor does.
We don’t use your information for advertising lists, and we don’t send marketing email you didn’t ask for.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. Not to brokers, not to advertisers, not to anyone. Your information is shared only in two narrow cases:
- Service providers. Companies that help us operate — our email provider, our website hosting company, and similar vendors — process data on our behalf as part of delivering their service.
- Legal requirements. If a valid legal process requires disclosure, we comply with the law.
SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates. If you agree to receive text messages from us, that consent stays with us — it is never sold, shared, or transferred to anyone else for their marketing purposes.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your phone number — through the form on this site, by calling, or in the course of a project — we may text you about your inquiry or your project: replies to your questions, scheduling and appointment confirmations, estimate and project updates, and similar service messages. We don’t send promotional text blasts.
- Message frequency varies depending on where things stand with your inquiry or project.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance, or visit grandviewcontractors.com.
- SMS consent is not shared with third parties.

How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as it’s needed to handle your inquiry and to maintain reasonable business records. Correspondence tied to an active or completed project stays in our project files; inquiries that don’t go anywhere get retained only as ordinary business correspondence.
Your choices
If you’d like to know what information we have about you, want it corrected, or want it deleted, contact us at contact@grandviewcontractors.com and we’ll take care of it. We may keep records we’re required to retain for legal or accounting purposes, but we’ll tell you if that applies.
Cookies
This site currently uses functional cookies only — the kind that make basic site features work. We don’t run advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If we add analytics in the future, it will be the basic aggregate kind described above, and we’ll update this policy to say so.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we’ll update this page and revise the effective date at the top. Material changes won’t be applied retroactively to information collected under an earlier version of this policy.
